The basic charge for Senior Grant Consulting is $85/hr. Discounts of 10%-20% are available for major work, estimated to be greater than 40 hours per grant, such as responsibility for managing or writing the entire grant. For these discounted rates, we become your team member and a 1% “success fee” is paid to SciBiz if the grant is funded.

Secretarial/editing/technical writing service is available and expert consulting for special projects can be arranged for a to-be-determined price. Business plan writing is also available, as is regulatory analysis for medical-related projects.

SciBiz recommends initial exhaustive, grant searches be performed by Regional Technology Alliance. Their price varies with the type of company, project and search requirements.

Terms: By mutual agreement of the scope of work, the time and price are estimated. 10% price break with 1% "success fee" (generally $1,000 for a Phase I SBIR grant) is given for services that are estimated to be over 40 hours per grant. Additional discounts are given for extensive work. 50% is due and payable before SciBiz commences work. Remainder of funds are paid weekly when due. If the project goes over the estimated budget, your company representative will be informed and “signature of approval” requested before proceeding.
